Nature Walk

The land behind our new house is essentially undeveloped and has a great tree line with lots of different trees and flowers.  Andrew took the riding lawn mower (CAS and Christy's) and made a path for us to walk on.  We usually walk through the neighborhood, which is a quiet, low traffic walk.  But M&M love walking the path so much more.  I just love this picture of Andrew with his "little ducklings"!

Oh my handsome, sweet-natured little boy!  He loves to find rocks and sticks to carry.  He would probably prefer to ride on Andrew or my shoulders the whole way instead of walk :-)

My funny little independent girl!  Mary Ellen on the other hand wants to do EVERYTHING herself and walk the whole way...or run!  She's always way ahead and notices everything.  She loved the blue flower Daddy found for her :-)

We really do enjoy our nature walks and look forward to keeping up the tradition as they get older!

BOO!

Aren't they the cutest little bumble bee and tiger you ever saw?!?!  Halloween night was very warm and humid and of course the costumes were, you guessed it, polar fleece.  Poor babies!  Just the week before it was in the 30's at night, so who would have guessed?

Michael and Mary Ellen loved their costumes and thought it was so fun to see each other dressed up.  I love when I'm able to get a picture with both my sweet babies!

Now if that doesn't melt your heart, nothing will.  Mary Ellen loves her Daddy so!  She loves to give kisses and hugs and especially to Daddy.  Just an FYI...that's our house under construction in the background.

Andrew and I carved the pumpkins and they were able to paint their little ones they got at the pumpkin patch.

We actually went to our church's Fall Festival to trick-or-treat.  It was a great event!  There were bouncy houses, animals, music, food, and decorated tables that were sponsered by families to trick-or-treat at.  Great time and WELL attended...I think half the town was there.  Here M&M are sorting through their loot!

Mary Ellen was trying to feed the sheep some hay.  I think he was more interested in her candy bag!

Lollipops are still their favorite.  They call them "pops"...so cute!

Fun night to see my big two-year-olds dressed up and having fun!
