Putting Away Groceries

I just love how my kids can find fun in the simplest things.  One of their favorite things to do is play in the paper bags when we get home from the grocery store.  They play robot and hide-and-seek.  This day THEY were the groceries.  Now that's a precious arm load!

Swamp Fox Family Day

It was a fun family day this year at McEntire.  There were planes and helicopters galore and we all had a great time!  Andrew is posing here with his three loves...yep, the F16 ranks pretty high up!

Michael and Mary Ellen loved the tanks and even got to crawl on a few.

But the helicopters were a favorite!  Here they are behind the stick and looking happy.  We also got to see the F16 East Coast Demo Team fly along with some helicopters.  It was like a mini air show.  They also had the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall along with Memorials from all the other wars and conflicts since.  There were several food stands and even had a band playing.  What a great event and a fun family day!

Gymnastics Observation Day

In March we had the final observation day in gymnastics for the year.  We were so sad that Andrew wasn't able to be there; he was TDY.  But Dee (my Mother) was in town so she was able to go with us.

Michael and Mary Ellen waiting for class to start.  They are supposed to pick a color square to sit on.  As you can see Michael has a different idea as he sprawls across several squares!

Lined up doing their stretches.

M&M love to do front flips, and they're good at it too!

Mary Ellen doing donkey kicks.

Mary Ellen was deathly afraid of the bars and the beam when she first started but Miss Angie helped her get over her fears.

Success!

Great form Michael!

The whole crew!

And an ice cream treat for a successful gymnastics day!
