Now after a week of fishing in the "big boat" with Papa there were lots of brim to clean. M&M were enthralled with all the fish and loved watching Andrew clean them. Of course Andrew took the opportunity to tell them repeatedly that when they were older this would be THEIR job. They seemed to think that was OK!
And finally the reward for all that hard work. I fried the fish and we had cheese grits and blueberries and strawberries for dessert. Michael my big eater, LOVED it and ate about 3 fish on his own. Mary Ellen wasn't so sure and only ate one fried brim and liked it better when Daddy picked the fish off the bone for her. The cheese grits were a big hit that we all loved. It was a happy day and a great family meal!
