We've all heard the saying,"when life gives you lemons...make lemonade". Well in my case, "when life gives you butternut squash...make jack-o-lanterns!" I've searched high and low for big round orange Halloween pumpkins to no avail. There are lots of squash-looking-gourd-like vegetables here but no pumpkins! Probably best because if I could find one it would no doubt cost $100!So I decided to take some big butternut squash and carve my designs anyway. Happy Halloween everyone and stay tuned for the costume post! You're not going to believe how cute M&M are!

Hey Cece, What a great idea...I hate to say it but Japan had all the pumpkins that you were looking for.There were tons left over this morning when I was at the commissary. If I would have know, I could have mailed you one! LOL Can't wait to see your Halloween pictures of M & M! Ours aren't the best, I really wasn't in the mood to photograph them...but I guess what I took will do for this year! Talk to you, Melissa
